Simplicity, artful draping and crisp shapes prevail through this collection of shift dresses and wrapped blouses. Rough hemmed palazzo pants in a large black and white graph print opened the show, paired with a graceful wrapped top folding over the shoulder and pinned at the waist.
Tying is an important part to this collection – slender ties close blouse fronts or the sides of dresses, and form delicate shoulder straps. An oversized pinstripe coat with a large lapel is closed with wide ties, seen again in a slightly oversized coat with notched lapels.
Floor-length sleeveless sheer dresses add a sensual element to the show, while modesty is leant in the form of opaque strips resembling stripes of paint. A simple clutch with long, trailing string is carried along, accessorizing a grey, black and white patchwork dress of distressed knit, closed with a circular pin.
Simple, unlaced sneakers appear alongside leather sandals with metallic disks, adorning the models’ feet, mirrored in the occasional circular necklace, earrings or brooch. With less tailoring than his previous spring collection, the grace and simplicity of cut and style has remained, presenting a beautiful but easy going collection.
