Tokyo Fashion Week: more highlights from day four

In-Process by Hall Ohara

The brainchild of Central Saint Martins graduates Steven Hall (London) and Yurika Ohara (Tokyo), In-Process by Hall Ohara is building up an impressive following. The Spring/Summer 2015 collection mixed 60s and 70s retro florals, stunning intarsia knits and paint splash prints. Models wore curled-up hair and monkstrap-buckle flats.

DressedUndressed

DressedUndressed duo Takeshi Kitazawa and Emiko Sato’s approach was a little more ascetic. Their minimalist men’s and women’s pieces came in loose shapes with clean sharp lines and diaphanous fabrics. The color palette stuck to mostly black and white with touches of cream, khaki and navy.

Atsushi Nakashima

A former Jean Paul Gaultier protégé, Nakashima played with an elaborate mirrored butterfly print in sporty cuts. The gym fanatic vibes continued with plenty of bonded jersey pieces (worn with sneakers) for men and women. Accessories included cool mathematical-shape cuffs and chokers as well as metallic belts.
