Stella McCartney has released two t-shirt designs to raise money and awareness for War Child UK, a charity that provides support for children in countries affected by war.

The designs are inspired by the children’s drawings from the “Draw Me to Safety” art project, launched by Stella McCartney and Angelina Jolie. This project was open to 8-15 year old children in the UK, to provide drawings answering the question, “What makes you feel safe?” The competition began on 22nd September 2015 and is now closed.

“The money raised goes to an extraordinary cause that is really important and really needed. I am hoping that the t-shirt will raise awareness to that and it will make people understand that there is terrible suffering and we can do something, we can help”, stated McCartney.

The t-shirts are available in women’s and children’s sizes. The adult version retails for £70 and is available for a limited period at www.stellamccartney.com
