Paris menswear shows: more highlights from day two
Louis Vuitton
Kim Jones assembled another mix of sartorial and sporty influences, this time based around stripes. Models wore action-ready sunglasses, double-breasted suiting and fur-panelled coats and sweaters. There was an additional mountain man vibe added by the sporty hiking boots and functional belted jackets with utility pockets.

Damir Doma
The young Croatian-German talent served up dark, mod-influenced suiting, casual wear in crumpled cotton textures and a shining black vinyl which appeared on suit jacket arms, and covered a plush down jacket. There were also fantastic double-breasted trench coats in a range of warm fabrics.

Yohji Yamamoto
The Japanese fashion legend threw restraint out of the window for Fall-Winter 2014/15. Floral outerwear came mixed with camo and tribal prints. Elsewhere there were collarless biker jackets and loose suit jackets with high lapels, skull, chain and bulldog prints, plenty of painted leather pieces, studded lace-ups and gaucho hats.

Dries Van Noten
The Belgian sent out his models with stripes of color in their side-parted hair, wearing slightly geometrical tie-dye, tinted fur scarves and plenty of technical fabrics. He said goodbye to his previous flirtations with floral prints, serving up treated denims with cutaway details and double-breasted military style outerwear. Quilting was another feature, cropping up on light jackets, as well as on a sumptuous velvet bomber.
