Jean Paul Gaultier will collaborate with Seven and iHoldings
When Jean Paul Gaultier announced his decision to quit the Ready to Wear collection ,the fashionistas all around the world were very disappointed. Hope is back. WWD announced that the French designer will collaborate with the Japanese retailer Seven and iHoldings. Even if Gaultier’s soul is in couture, it seems he could not be away from the Pret a porter for too long.
The capsule collection that will be respectfully called “Jean Paul Gaultier for Sept Premières” will include over 50 pieces. The price range will be from 32 to 250 dollars, very affordable numbers for a wardrobe produced by one of the most prestigious designers in the world.
The garments will be sent only across Japan: They will be made available in Seven and iHolding owned stores Sogo, Seibu, and Ito Yokado and even their 7-11 convenience stores.
