In the mood of On Aura Tout Vu: ‘We were inspired by Malevich’

Relaxnews: Where were you when you found the inspiration for this collection? What was the ‘light-bulb’ moment?
Livia Stoianova & Yassen Samouilov: In Paris. Our light-bulb moment occurred at the “Dynamo” exhibit at the Grand Palais.

R: If you had to sum up your collection in just one piece, which would you choose?
LS & YS: The n°10 dress in “mesh spacer” (a fantastic high-tech material) embroidered with rhinestones and light.

R: Could Rihanna, a true fashion icon, represent your label? What look would you pair her with?
LS & YS: Why not? We could picture her in a black tulle jumpsuit embroidered with crystals.

R: Has a particular couturier inspired you in the past or present?
LS & YS: Generally speaking, we are more inspired by artists! For this collection in particular, we were inspired by Malevich, Joseph Beuys and Bruce Nauman.

R: What do you dislike about the fashion world?
