R: Where were you when you found the inspiration for this collection? What was the light-bulb moment?
MA: It wasn’t a moment but more like a mood that I was enjoying, everything else fell into place!!

R: If you had to choose just one piece from this collection to represent it, which one would it be?
MA: The handwoven art deco bead dress.

R: Rihanna is becoming a real style icon. Could she be a muse or a spokesmodel for your label, and if so, what outfit would you dress her in?
MA: Rihanna would be perfect for my brand! She has worn my clothes before but I would love to dress her up in my spring/summer 14 chain dress.

R: Which designers have inspired you in the past, and who inspires you today?
MA: My environment and experiences inspire me!!

R: What do you dislike about the world of fashion?
MA: How serious it is!
