In the mood of agnès b.: "I never watch fashion shows"
Relaxnews: Which famous person – living or dead, historical or contemporary – could represent this new collection?
Agnès B.: Jodie Foster.
R: Where were you when you found the inspiration for this collection? What was the light-bulb moment?
AB: In my studio… in Paris, in the 10th arrondissement, near the Canal Saint-Martin. The light-bulb moment comes when I see the (soft) materials and the colors.
R: If you had to sum up your collection in just one piece, which would you choose?
AB: I don’t like that question at all, because of course I love all of the pieces!
R: Rihanna is becoming a real style icon. Could she be a muse or a spokesmodel for your label, and if so, what outfit would you dress her in?
AB: Rihanna… Why not, on the condition that she is like in that music video where she’s in her bath and that she eliminates all the bling!
R: Which designers have inspired you in the past, and who inspires you today?
AB: I have admired Chanel through her work, her life. The same goes for Saint Laurent or Azzedine Alaïa, but I don’t know the others. I never watch fashion shows.
R: What do you dislike about the world of fashion?
AB: Almost everything when it comes to an accumulation of pretenses.
