Burberry Spring-Summer 2014 campaign unveiled
Burberry has revealed the campaign for its Spring/Summer 2014 collection, shot by famed Peruvian fashion photographer Mario Testino.
The campaign is supported by a fun video, soundtracked by “Introvert,” by Squeeze which picks up the soft romantic feel of the collection. All the models wear unstructured summer trench coats, and also appear with soft summer knits, pastels and English lace. The cast also show off two new sunglasses styles.
As usual, creative director Christopher Bailey has used his keen eye for future talent to pick out his campaign models. Here are his latest stars:
Jamie Campbell Bower – the London-based actor and musician has appeared in “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,” and also featured as Caius in the “Twilight” series of films.
Leo Dobson – the young British musician is lead singer in British indie rock band ‘Childhood.’
Malaika Firth – the Kenyan-born and British-raised model walked the Burberry Prorsum womenswear Spring/Summer 2014 show and has also recently starred in a Prada campaign (following in Naomi Campbell’s footsteps as the second ever black woman to do so).
Matilda Lowther – newcomer Matilda opened the Burberry Prorsum womenswear Spring/Summer 2014 show in London and then went on to walk for Bottega Veneta, Missoni and Hermès, among others.
Neelam Johal – born in Coventry in the UK, Neelam is the first model of Indian descent to feature in a Burberry campaign, prompting Vogue India to tweet their excitement today.
Callum Ball – the British model has walked the Burberry Prorsum menswear and womenswear Spring/Summer 2014 shows in London and also starred in the brand’s Burberry Black Label campaign.
Jean Campbell – the young model is the daughter of former Vogue fashion editor Isabella Cawdor and after appearing in the fall has now shot with both Tim Walker and Bruce Weber for the famed fashion bible.
Previous Burberry campaigns have featured Cara Delevingne, Edie Campbell, Emma Watson, and Alex Pettyfer, so we think you can expect big things from Bailey’s latest generation.
