出演这部既迷人又带有略微腐败色彩电影的是蛇蝎美人丽Rita Hayworth。她身上散发出的无限性欲使得此片最令人难忘的一幕是她在赌场为了在情感上伤害她的丈夫而为一排男人们表演脱衣舞。片中那件黑色露肩缎面礼服是设计师Jean Luis三件代表作之一。另外两件则是Marilyn Monroe为肯尼迪唱生日歌时穿的亮片礼服和Marlene Dietrich世界巡演时穿的飘逸串珠的礼服。Rita称这是她演艺生涯中最理想、完美的角色，以至于她觉得很多男性看过影片后对她有所失望：因为他们觉得晚上和他们上床的是Gilda，早上醒来看到身边躺着的却是Rita。
