Fendi

Washed out and ripped denim, bouclé jackets, and multicolored knits played off against very restrained basics, and neutral, minimalist tailoring in sharp cuts. Accessories, always key at Fendi, included colorful bags and backpacks in buttery leather and a collaboration with Beats by Dre headphones, while models wore sandals with their trousers.

Canali

The venerable tailoring outfit has hired Andrea Pompilio as a creative consultant, but he stuck close to the brand’s core DNA with classic close-cut tailoring in different blends of wool, silk and linen. The mostly subdued palette of blues, beiges and blacks was brightened up by a few fiery reds. Shoes were all about calfskin with derbys, moccasins, slip-ons, and sneaker options in the material.

Ports 1961

The Toronto-born luxury label served up more of this season’s trend for techno-minimalism with a sartorial twist. Fiona Cibani’s collection was a print-free zone with solid blocks of sand, navy, caramel and khaki paired with crisp white shirting. Boxy jackets were cropped short and worn with wide-leg pants, with the tailoring coming in mohair and silk-linen blends for summer-friendly cool.
