Mr Porter and Matthew Vaughn have sought out some of the hottest names in contemporary tailoring for a new menswear line inspired by the costumes in “Kingsman: The Secret Service.”

Set for release in the fall, the film is set to star screen legends Colin Firth, Samuel L Jackson, and Michael Caine alongside emerging actor Taron Egerton. Another movie based on an acclaimed comic book, “Kingsman” tells the story of a young street-smart kid, inducted into a top-secret spy organization, hidden behind a Savile Row tailoring store.

The 60-piece Kingsman collection will launch in September, with a mix of suits, outerwear, knits and accessories all designed to show off the best of British craftsmanship. Following the bespoke tailoring in the film, Mr Porter worked with the “Kingsman” costume designer Arianne Phillips to create a range of pieces. Brands include Cutler & Gross (eyewear), George Cleverley (shoes), Bremont (watches), and Turnbull & Asser (shirting).

Matthew Vaughn first spotted the opportunity while he was developing the film: “I wanted to create a classic collection for the stylish man and with ‘Kingsman’ I’m confident that together we have done exactly that.”

Mr Porter’s Toby Bateman was also excited: “this is the first time that the costumes for a movie have been conceived with the idea of selling those clothes to the film’s audience. You could literally be sitting in the cinema watching this film and shopping the looks from your mobile device or tablet as you watch.”

“Kingsman: The Secret Service” will premiere globally mid-October 2014. While you’ll have to wait until September to get your hands on the clothes, you can sign up for updates via Mr Porter at www.mrporter.com/shop/designers/kingsman
