Iggy Azalea features in Revolve campaign
On May 14 Revolve will launch a new online campaign for Summer 2014 starring Iggy Azalea as the face of the online retailer.
“Iggy is perfectly in line with our brand,” Michael Mente, co-CEO and co-founder of Revolve told WWD. “Revolve is a little bit outside of the mainstream. Our customer is risk-taking and confident, and Iggy is the perfect embodiment of that. Revolve is not about playing it safe.”
The 23-year-old rapper is stepping into the shoes of model and actress Emily Ratajkowski (yes, of “Blurred Lines” infamy) who fronted the Spring 2014 campaign.
“The New Classic”, Azalea’s debut studio album is scheduled to be released on April 22 after a long wait. But worry not, she’s been filling her time with plenty of fashion work. The musician has previously appeared in a ‘Go Forth’ campaign for Levi’s jeans and in 2012 was signed to Wilhelmina models in New York City.
