这部1979年的电影《四重人格》展示了上世纪60年代的摩登时尚《并在70年代重新流行了起来。影片的造型师Jack English和Rodger Buton是两名前任摇滚乐前辈并拥有一家复古时装公司叫作”Contemporary Wardrobe”。所以至今为止丝绸西装和军装大衣还在流行。当时所有身着着这些西装的男人们都会花上很久时间来整理自己的领带，在公车上不敢坐下怕自己的裤子出摺。Jack English还记得当时的穿着很大程度上也影响着他们的生活方式。
