Viktor & Rolf announce Paris flagship details
Scheduled to open this autumn, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have announced a new 5,400-square-foot (500 square meter) flagship at 370 Rue Saint-Honoré in the French capital’s fashion district.
Set to carry all the men’s and women’s lines including ready-to-wear, fragrances, bags, shoes and accessories, the Paris store reinforces the designers’ link with the city. Based in Amsterdam, the pair have presented their collections in Paris since 1998:
“We consider Paris to be our fashion home. It’s where we started 20 years ago. Paris is still the symbol of fashion,” Horsting told WWD.
Between 2005 and 2008 the brand had a store in Milan, but they’ve since been without their own locations, stocking their avant-garde designs in multibrand boutiques or high-end department stores like Harvey Nichols, 10 Corso Como and Bloomingdales.
It’s not the only big Paris news for the designers, on July 3 Viktor & Rolf will make their return to the haute couture schedule after more than a decade away.
