PFW: lace and lingerie details at Sharon Wauchob

For Sharon Wauchob, spring will be sexy yet simple. The materials are fluid and lightweight, the skirts and dresses are hemmed just above the knee, and the lavalieres flutter around the models’ necks. 

On the runway, thighs showed through the high slits in the skirts, while plunging necklines went as far as revealing the skin below the breast. Lace embroidery at the hem of skirts and dresses adds a distinctly lingerie-inspired touch. These sexy details were offset by the flat shoes seen throughout the show — pointed toe ballerina slippers and gladiator sandals that lace up the calf — and especially by the thick coats, which offered a counterpoint to the delicate clothes underneath.
