Miu Miu shows Resort 2015 in Paris show

Miuccia Prada knows how to set the scene. The Italian designer unveiled her new Miu Miu collection with a show held at the Palais d’Iena, where models descended the imposing staircase and walked amongst an audience sat on reflective glass cube seating. 

The opening retro sci-fi uniform vibe (worn with point-toe, perspex-heeled kitten pumps) gave way to trippy psychedelic prints, florals, crochet knit vests, contrast color outerwear, and crystal embellishment. The girls’ tailored pants came wide of leg and high of waist. 

Jack White was on musical duties later with a concert following the show. Guests included Uma Thurman, Carine Roitfeld, Gemma Arterton, Steve McQueen and new Miu Miu campaign star Stacy Martin.
