Manish Arora opens Paris flagship
Formerly creative director at Paco Rabanne, Manish Arora has a long-standing relationship with the City of Light: Primarily based in New Delhi, Paris has become a second home and Arora presents his collections in the French capital.
It’s fitting then that he chose the city as the location for his first flagship store. Previously present with a Galeries Lafayette corner and a pop-up store at Galerie Joyce last year, the new Arora boutique arrives in a burst of the designer’s signature pink and gold colors, situated between the Tuileries gardens and Rue Saint-Honoré, at 5 rue Rouget-de-L’Isle.
The 130 square meter store was designed by Milan and Paris-based studio of Riccardo Haiat, with the decor reflecting the brand’s vibrant palette and the designer’s love of colored glass. Inside, up front is the ready-to-wear, accessories, and a select set of pieces from the Indian by Manish Arora (previously exclusively available in the designer’s homeland). There’s also a selection of his favorite toys and specially chosen items and the rear of the store will host exhibitions, presentations and private events for the brand.
