Is Lanvin for Sale?
It is currently being speculated within the industry that French fashion house Lanvin may be for sale, as the label’s owner, Shaw-Lan Wang, is reported to be considering an offload of the company.
A spokesperson for Lanvin told Women’s Wear Daily that ‘”Madame Wang has received expressions of interest to acquire Lanvin, as in the past years”, and despite a current lack of official talks, the Taiwanese publishing mogul made an “informal approach” to an Asian family of investors in order to consider selling her stake.
