H&M Conscious Collection to arrive in stores April 10

This year, H&M is launching not one but two Conscious collections, including the H&M Conscious Exclusive line created in partnership with the Ever Manifesto collective. With these new lines, the Swedish company has introduced new sustainable materials including vegetable tanned leather and organic silk.

As announced in November, actress and model Amber Valletta will star in the campaigns for this new collection, which is inspired by the styles of bohemia and flamenco dancing. At an event in Los Angeles celebrating the launch of the new collections, Valetta reaffirmed her belief in the importance of H&M’s promoting sustainable fashion.

“There’s a movement happening in fashion for everything to become more sustainable, more responsible,” she said. “And it’s important for companies like H&M to take steps and be leaders… As a global company they can really make an impact.”
