Fashion films of the week: Nike, Dior, McQueen
Nike Women x Pedro Lourenço
Nike Women has teamed up with Brazilian fashion wunderkind Pedro Lourenço for a capsule collection. To celebrate its launch they created this beautifully shot film with NOWNESS starring French dancer Hajiba Fahmy and shot in the Atlas Mountains by director Abteen Bagheri. The score by Jessy Lanza is an added bonus.
Dior Homme
Described by Dior as “a black and white voyage of hypnotic beauty,” and with a sumptuous soundtrack by Son Lux, this short fragrance film is an almost synesthetic treat for the eyes and ears. Chances are you’ll want a sniff of Dior Homme by the end.
Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen headed to The Frieze Art Fair which ran October 14-17 in London. This film explores the event’s live goings-on including nuclear soup with vegetables from Fukushima and soft sculpture from Franz Erhard Walther which relies on public interaction.
