Fashion films of the week: Hugo Boss, Bottega Veneta, Proenza Schouler
Hugo Boss
Celebrating the HUGO Hugo Boss label’s 20th birthday, the German brand hired Belgian visual artist Pierre Debusschere to create a dramatic and graphical video collecting 20 special iconic items to represent the spirit of Hugo Boss.
Bottega Veneta
Bottega Veneta’s creative director Tomas Maier narrates this short clip which sees American art photographer Ralph Gibson shooting the brand’s Fall-Winter 2013 campaign. “I’ve admired Ralph’s minimal yet formal aesthetic for some time, especially the way he looks beyond reproducing reality,” explains Maier.
Proenza Schouler
The Proenza Schouler boys Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez hired photographer David Sims and director Eddie the Wheel to create this Fall-Winter 2013 campaign video which is soundtracked by “Shakes” by US hardcore band Muuy Biien.
