Elie Saab gets classical

The minute-long video, titled “Strictly Decorative,” shows the latest ready-to-wear options from Elie Saab, and takes a break from the designer’s more narrative short films to focus on the clothes.  

Sountracked by Vivaldi’s dramatic Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 8, “L’estate” (Summer) – 3rd Movement, the film puts the decorative silhouettes at the center of the show, with the pointed collars of the collection accessorized with thin leather belts cinched at the waist, and angular oversized bags and accessories. 

Directed by French filmmaker Antoine Asseraf (who also works with Giorgio Armani, Comme des Garçons and Vogue, among others) it’s well worth a watch.
