Dolce & Gabbana return to deck Claridge’s Christmas tree
This year, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are dedicating their Christmas tree to the children of the world. The ornaments will depict famous landmarks meant to represent the children of cities around the globe, Vogue.co.uk reports.
“Christmas is the happiest time of the year for children and we want to celebrate it with a tree that brings together all the different cultures from around the world,” said the designers. “We thought of an enchanted forest where the real meets the unreal, just as it does the night before Christmas. It is a very special tradition because it helps spread our love for Italian craftsmanship around the world.”
And when it comes to the enchanted forest theme, the Dolce & Gabbana Fall-Winter 2014-15 show proved the designers are right at home with the subject.
Claridge’s will unveil the Christmas tree on November 19.
