Dane DeHaan shot by Annie Leibovitz for Prada
Up-and-coming young actor Dane DeHaan was photographed by famed portraitist Annie Leibovitz for the latest Prada menswear advertising.
DeHaan’s name is gaining fame as he recently starred alongside Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling in the 2013 hit “The Place Beyond the Pines” as well as in Aussie director John Hillcoat’s “Lawless,” and the beat-era drama “Kill Your Darlings.”
He will also be appearing as Harry Osborn in the second film of the revamped Spider-Man series “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” Miuccia Prada obviously has a connection with the films as the previous Spider-Man, actor Tobey Maguire, appeared in the Italian label’s 2011 campaigns.
Shot in Leibovitz’s studio, the earthy, woody tones of the space contrast with the new Prada collection’s brightly colored floral shirting and dapper suiting. DeHaan will also appear in an upcoming Prada eyewear campaign and a behind-the-scenes film will premiere on prada.com.
