But these models aren’t just any fashionistas off the street. Vashtie Kola, Brandee Brown and Chelsea Leyland (who is British but lives in New York) are known for their work as talented directors, photographers and DJs.

Shot by Christian MacDonald, the campaign explores different aspects of the new Cruise collection. The models look sweet in pink, minimalist and mature in navy and grey, and finally more urban in black and white, wearing caps and sneakers (but also a feather miniskirt). In short, it’s an eclectic line presented by members of the creative avant-garde. What could be more New York?
