Alexander Wang announces debut London flagship

Set to open in the summer of 2015, the new Alexander Wang store at 43/44 Albemarle Street in London is the designer’s first European flagship. Fellow brands on the street include Paul Smith, Amanda Wakeley, Buccellati and Garrard & Co. 

The brand currently ships to over 50 countries via its e-commerce site, but this is the first standalone flagship in Europe. The designer is having something of a moment, having taken over the reins from Nicolas Ghesqiuère at Balenciaga in 2013. This fall he released a capsule ready-to-wear collection with H&M. Earlier in the year he also collaborated with the Beats audio brand on a one-off line of heaphones and speakers.
