Burberry Pre-Fall 2015: signature silhouettes in new materials
The silhouettes stuck to classic staples of the London luxury brand, many reworked in new materials, from trenches in soft calfskin to shearling jackets which came needle-punched, patch-worked and animal-printed (not all at the same time).
These outerwear looks were worn with cigarette pants and chic peep-toe ankle boots in black leather. Other footwear options included slick suede over-the-knee boots, while accessories focused on Mini Bee Bag in python and alligator leathers, with calf leather and shearling trims.
There were also some lighter looks for warmer autumn days including silk shirts and ribbed dresses printed with flowers. When it gets chillier, the knits played with contrasting colors and textural approaches. On the whole the color palette stuck to navy blues, bottle greens, creams and blacks with a smattering of mahogany and copper.
