Chanel’s 2014-2015 Cruise collection revealed

For this new collection, the couturier emphasized delicate and flowing fabrics such as silk chiffon, linen, cotton voile or silk crepe. Tweeds, Chanel’s signature fabrics, were of course present, but in lighter, airier versions.

In terms of colors, the line was grounded in neutral colors, with plenty of black, white, gold, beige and navy. Certain pieces were accented with touches of fuchsia, red or floral prints.

In addition to new watches and jewelry pieces, fashionistas can expect to see trompe-l’oeil three-piece suits, harem pants, tunics, short rompers, boleros and pleated blouses.
