London menswear shows: highlights from day two

J.W. Anderson

Anderson’s gender-blurring menswear (if the girls can borrow from the boys, then why not?) always gets buzz in London, and this season was no different. His men carried box clutches, wearing platform python shoes, bright prints and slinky blouse-like tops.

Margaret Howell

Howell created another collection of understated, and very British wool, cotton and denim pieces. Her collection mixed workwear and office wear influences, pairing grey suiting with chunky lug-soled leather boots.

Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane’s menswear featured a fun jacquard designed to look like snakeskin, which appeared on tailoring and coats. Big tees with molecular prints were worn with trousers which were cropped above a lug-soled slip-on with brogue detailing.
