Todd Lynn and Debenhams create new capsule collection
Hot on the heels of milliner Stephen Jones and menswear talent Patrick Grant of Saville Row tailor E.Tautz, the emerging London-based designer will create a Fall-Winter capsule collection.
Lynn, who shows his main collections at London Fashion Week, offered this description: “The woman who wears my clothes is fearless, and wants to put a piece of clothing on and feel amazing. I feel like we have made a collection true to my identity.”
Known for his androgynous and dark tailoring, the Central Saint Martins-trained designer has previously dressed musical legends Bono, Mick Jagger, Beyoncé, and Janet Jackson.
Encompassing what Lynn calls “cool, luxurious winter essentials”, the 12-piece collection will hit Debenhams stores in October this year, priced from £55 upwards (approx. €65). Expect a sharp leather skirt, wool winter coats, jackets, jeans and dresses.
Previous designers to work with Debenhams include cutting-edge stars Jonathan Saunders and Henry Holland, as well as established talents Jasper Conran and Julien Macdonald.
