Rag & Bone does rainy day fashion with Hunter Boots

“As English guys, we grew up being familiar with Hunter boots — I got my first pair of their wellies when I was around eight!” explained Wainwright. “Hunter is an extremely iconic British brand, which remains as relevant today as it did when it was founded over a century and a half ago …” he added. 

The two different styles (one a tall classic Wellington boot, and the other a shorter ankle boot) come in Black/Army Green, Black, Army Green, Burgundy and Black/Navy colors. 

It was the brand’s growing appeal in their adopted home of NYC that also got Co-Managing Partner David Neville excited: “Hunter may be a quintessential British brand but we also always see so many women on the streets of Manhattan wearing their boots.”

Rag & Bone has also released a short video showing four such ladies enjoying their rain boots on a damp and wet rooftop. Available to pre-order online from Wednesday, the boots will hit Rag & Bone stores on September 9, in both the tall ($295) and short ($265) models.
