Free People launches Pinterest capsule collection

Clicking on the dresses via Pinterest, shoppers are taken to a special hidden section of the FreePeople.com site where they can pre-order the pieces and get a further sneak peek at the collection.

Models Alyssa Miller, Sheila Marquez, and Dorothea Barth-Jorgensen were shot by photographer Joshua Allen wearing the six limited-edition holiday dresses. Priced from $350 up to $650, they feature leather details and studding as well as Victorian-style lace and appliqué work. 

Set for a full public launch at the end of October, the pieces come in pretty limited numbers (between 50 to 150 pieces in each style) so you’ll have to move fast if you want to pin them down! 

Pinterest, which lets users pin images on a kind of virtual moodboard, has a strong fashion following and even created a special fashion hub for the recent Spring 2014 fashion shows in New York, London, Milan, and Paris.
