Gemma Ward features in new Prada campaign

She might only be 27 years old but Gemma Ward is already making a comeback: the model, who became one of the fashion industry’s most bankable names while she was still in her teens, took a few years out of the industry, but has rounded her 2014 return off in style with a new ad campaign for Prada. 

According to Fashionista, Ward was shot by Steven Meisel for the black and white campaign, and will appear in the print images alongside Belgian model Ine Neefs who also walked the Prada and Miu Miu shows in the fall.

First emerging in the noughties, Ward became the youngest ever model to appear on the cover of American Vogue in September 2004. The Australian model then diversified into acting with a role opposite Johnny Depp in “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” in 2011.
