Steve Madden teams with Iggy Azalea

After rising to fame as a hip hop artist, Iggy Azalea is slowly but surely making a name for herself in fashion. After posing in a campaign for Revolve Clothing last spring, she was hired by MTV to host the 2014 edition of “House of Style” this summer.

Now, the young star has been invited by Steve Madden to collaborate on a new footwear line. While the resulting collection is already scheduled to launch in February 2015, there are no details yet on its contents.

“The idea for a collaboration came about a few months ago when Iggy performed in Brooklyn as part of our Madden Music series,” a spokesperson for the brand revealed to the website Fashionista. “She has an extremely gifted eye for fashion, and we’re working on the collection now.”
