Sao Paulo fashion week: highlights from day 1

Tufi Duek

Brazilian megastar Isabeli Fontana walked in this show for designer Tufi Duek, helping to show off the collection’s monochrome minidresses in semi-transparent plastics, lace, and prints. He added some color with red, blue and metallics. 

Animale 

The Animale collection mixed palm prints, lace, silk jumpsuits, thin leather, and textured shift overlays for Spring-Summer 2015. Twisted bangle wrist accessories matched the straps on the models’ heels. 

Cavalera

There were more wild jungle palm prints at Cavalera, where light silk blouses and shirts were mixed with washed-out denim and suede accessories. A dark floral print arrived on tailored eveningwear for the boys, and long gowns for the girls.
