Nicholas Kirkwood opens Paris pop-up
Nicholas Kirkwood signed a deal six months ago with LVMH which welcomed his label into the French luxury giant’s stable, and the first major fruits of the collaboration are being seen now.
The London-based shoe designer will be opening a series of pop-up stores over the next year but has picked Paris for his continental debut. A temporary space in the Parisian department store Printemps has recently opened and will be in place until mid-April, carrying the label’s latest men’s and women’s styles.
The second pop-up is set to appear at Miami’s Bal Harbour at the end of March and there will also be more men’s shoes coming soon: « We only have six styles really, but there is huge opportunity in men’s. We will be putting more focus on it as it is gaining momentum. It’s good timing, » he told WWD.
Another six or so pop-ups are also slated over the next twelve months with locations expected in the United States, the Middle East and Asia.
