Iggy Azalea features in Revolve campaign
On May 14 Revolve will launch a new online campaign for Summer 2014 starring Iggy Azalea as the face of the online retailer.
« Iggy is perfectly in line with our brand, » Michael Mente, co-CEO and co-founder of Revolve told WWD. « Revolve is a little bit outside of the mainstream. Our customer is risk-taking and confident, and Iggy is the perfect embodiment of that. Revolve is not about playing it safe. »
The 23-year-old rapper is stepping into the shoes of model and actress Emily Ratajkowski (yes, of « Blurred Lines » infamy) who fronted the Spring 2014 campaign.
« The New Classic », Azalea’s debut studio album is scheduled to be released on April 22 after a long wait. But worry not, she’s been filling her time with plenty of fashion work. The musician has previously appeared in a ‘Go Forth’ campaign for Levi’s jeans and in 2012 was signed to Wilhelmina models in New York City.
