Donna Karan to open Aspen pop-up

Opening Monday, and in place until mid-April next year, Donna Karan’s new store will be perfect for fashionista ski fanatics with the 2,500-square-foot space located on East Dean Street in the upmarket Colorado ski town.

« I’ve spent endless holidays there with my family and have so many friends who live there, » Karan told WWD. « My new Urban Zen store is my way of dressing and addressing a community that’s given me so much love and enjoyment. »

The store will stock men and women’s clothing as well as leather goods, jewelry, art and home decor options. In honor of the wintery location there’s also a special ‘Silver Snow’ collection (with white, gray and silver pieces) including warm cashmere, suede and shearling fabrics, all priced from $995 up to $5,995. 

The brand is joining a recent trend, with Parisian couture house Chanel opening a pop-up boutique last weekend in the French resort town of Courchevel stocking its latest Cruise collection.
