Agyness Deyn launches new spring collection with Doc Martens

Set to hit stores on February 22, the new collection by model-turned-actress Agyness Deyn is an exciting trip through Tokyo and London street culture, given a classic Dr. Martens twist.  

While Deyn’s last collection focused on 1990s power couple styles (aka Johnny Depp and Kate Moss), the latest plays with Harajuku influences: « it will appeal to girls who are confident and have a strong personal expression of style and identity in the way that they dress and what this says about themselves, » said Agyness. 

A signature print produced from an image of Agyness’s own eyeball is used throughout the collection. The range is composed of clothes, accessories and shoes, including a demin dress, loose-fitting shorts and heart-sequinned t-shirts. The shoes are flat sandal versions of the classic Doc Marten shape which come in orange, silver and white finishes with bow details. 

As well as designing, the 29-year-old model and singer, formerly known as Laura Hollins, has also turned her hand to acting. She appeared in the 2010 blockbuster « Clash of the Titans » and made her debut on the West-End stage in « The Leisure Society » in 2012. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Giovanni Ribisi.
