PFW: sexy urban style at Elie Saab

Elie Saab chose to open the show with two of the airy, draped maxi-dresses he does like no one else. Next up were a few pants ensembles with shirts or blouses with lace panels. As in a number of other shows this season, lace plays a key, cheeky role here by subtly revealing a bit of an arm, torso or hip. 

As usual, Saab also worked with sequins in sexy and glamorous evening gowns. Pants are also an evening wear option this season, seen under tops with tails covered in tone-on-tone shimmer. The elements all come together in the final looks of the show, which combine sequins with sheer panels. 

Sandals were the footwear of choice on the runway, seen in a variety of colors, whether flat or with heels. In terms of beauty, the looks included plenty of blue eyeshadow (as previously seen at Ungaro and, in New York, at Honor), announcing a possible summer trend.
