Fashion films of the week: Bottega, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana
Bottega Veneta
Italian fashion label Bottega Veneta has unveiled the video for its Fall/Winter 2014 campaign, starring models Edie Campbell and Otto Lotz. Shot by photographer David Sims on location in London earlier this year, the film shows off the brand’s slick collection with some clever camera tricks.
Burberry
The British brand has worked with Chinese messaging service WeChat on an ongoing innovation partnership, which has seen the two companies team up for some innovative digital-IRL crossover experiences. This film explores some of the highlights so far soundtracked by « You Can’t Stop the Rain » by Ed Harcourt.
Dolce & Gabbana
This short film from the Italian luxury label’s Swide channel puts the focus on one of Dolce & Gabbana’s favorite models, young Franco-Swedish star Sigrid Agren. The 23-year-old blonde shows off her trilingual talents and answers some questions about herself in her « Model Profiling, » all shot in sharp black and white.
