Rita Ora designing for Adidas

Following hot on the heels of Pharrell Williams’ collection with Adidas Originals and the announcement earlier this month that London-based designer Mary Katrantzou would be designing a womenswear line for the brand, comes the news that Rita Ora will release a three-season-long collaboration for the German company.

The move hasn’t come as a shock. After months of rumors of the collaboration, the singer’s instagram account has recently captured her trotting out a steady stream of Adidas looks.

« I’m a massive fan of the brand, » she told WWD. « I grew up working at a sneaker store when I was 16 and am a huge sneakerhead. It’s so cool that I’m able to do this with a brand that I sold when I was younger. »

The line will be made up of five different capsule collections named « Black », « Pastel », « Colorblock », « Spray » and « Roses ». They are set to roll out from August to November with a mix of footwear, ready-to-wear and accessories. Prices will range from $30 beanie hats up to $500 for the leather varsity jacket.

Ora has previously appeared in campaign images for DKNY and also walked in a runway show for the brand.
