Miley Cyrus strips off for Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs and business partner Robert Duffy first kicked off the ‘Protect the skin you’re in’ project in 2006, and the campaign has already raised over $1 million for the NYU School of Medicine’s Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group.
Previous versions of the shirt have featured Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum and Eva Mendes, and the latest star to get naked for a good cause is pop starlet Miley Cyrus.
Cyrus « has been a friend of mine for a while and I think she’s beautiful, » said Duffy, « she is a lot of fun to be with » he added. Priced at $35, the shirts feature a naked black and white shot of the singer, along with the ‘Protect the skin you’re in’ slogan.
The shirts will be available from Friday at nine Marc Jacobs stores in the US and the tees will hit European Marc Jacobs stores from next month, with proceeds benefitting the NYU Cancer Institute, and the NYU Langone Medical Center.
