Diane von Furstenberg and Roxy launch surfer swimwear line
The line, DVF Loves Roxy, just launched globally and matches Furstenberg’s iconic bold prints with Roxy’s surfer silhouettes — with surfers Kelia Moniz and Monyca Byrne-Wicke as the faces of the line.
Comprising 35 pieces, the line includes swimwear, beach cover-ups, board shorts, rash guards, and beach bags.
« I am so excited to work with Roxy, » Furstenberg told WWD last year when she announced the partnership. « The collection is playful and fun…we wanted to empower women to go for it and ride the wave. »
« Roxy tends to appeal to women and girls that love the outdoors because the brand is derived from the board lifestyle – both surf and snow, » Roxy representative Danielle Beck told blog Well + Good NYC. « DVF brings a more fashion savvy customer to the equation, so together, the collection is intended for everyone, the outdoor girl and the stylish girl. »
With prices ranging from $25 to $75, DVF Loves ROXY is available at selected DVF and Roxy stores across the globe, the roxy.com e-commerce site, and at Nordstrom’s and Bloomingdales’ websites and stores across the US.
