Vera Wang
Vera Wang Women Autumn-Winter 2015 – Vera Wang takes on monochrome this season with a hint of simplicity – lack of pattern and a strong use of texture and detail, as well as simple shaping and cuts define what’s in store from Vera Wang this coming autumn. The collection already screams New York city.
An oversized varsity aesthetic peeps through, with leather sleeves on jackets – contrasting textured jumpers are common, chunky knit cables and heavy knits throughout filling out the fur collars. Minimalism continued through with sheer fabric dresses and simplistic lace – slight embellishment of decorative flowers add girliness to a masculine collection – with asymmetrical sleeves and structured shoulders, a hint of Alexander Wang seems to be inspiration.
Outfits were accessorized with knee high boots, with flat soles, hidden by wide leg trousers – creating that cool plimsoll look, bringing back that sport school look.
