Versus
Spring-Summer 2015 – Intricate tailoring with slim silhouettes at Versace sub-brand Versus’ show were kept simple with a monochrome black and white colour palette with accents of gold in a recurring belt buckle and in a contrasting skirt and jacket.
Uncomplicated silhouettes of skin tight dresses, jackets, jumpsuits, shirts and seductive body suits, all with unique gold button details developed into more striking designs which translated the black and white patterns on the catwalk into linear and almost warped prints that could have easily been influenced by the intricate lines and details seen in computer chips.
Effortless tailoring, and then using small aspects of pattern and mix of fabrics seemed to be the focus, with characteristics such as gold buttons and flashes of pattern through layering and cutting was the key focus, and it paid off because it exuded a distinct sense of expensive luxury through very small enhanced details.
