Christopher Kane
Spring-Summer 2015 – The attention to detail in the Christopher Kane collection was second to none, with intricate prints and detailing featuring on the pieces, bringing about a smart, sexy mood on the catwalk. The collection mixed together satin, leather and sheer fabric to form sexy, feminine pieces that revealed flesh and emphasised the female silhouette as the models moved down the catwalk. Rope detailing on sheer dresses hid the models’ modesty (sometimes!), creating an enticing peek-a-boo effect. Pleats, tutus and peplums made of organza further emphasised the extreme level of detailing amongst the collection, and highlighted the feminine form. The collection moved through colours of tyrian purple, black, lilac, cream, and carmine.
The collection was accessorised with small handbags of the same colour as the outfits, and models wore sandals and peep-toe ankle boots in tyrian, black, lilac, and cream. Hair was styled in a centre parting, although otherwise worn loose, and minimal makeup was worn.
