Carolina Herrera
Spring-Summer 2015 – The sophisticated Carolina Herrera woman will be lapping up this SS15 collection, featuring fascinating manipulations of print and exquisite tailoring in muted colours. Herrera decides to stick to a refreshed colour palette of pale yellow, red, white and black with accents of beige and green.
Art and graphic prints seen from earlier in the week cropped up – but done differently by keeping the prints solitary, which allowed the focus to be on the print and the surrounding tailoring. Singular colour dresses in coral, mustard and beige deftly moved on to fresh white dresses and crop jumpers paired with a co-ordinating white and beige floral design which seemed like it had been inspired by upholstery.
White dresses with blocked gradients stood out, but the show stoppers come at the end with evening dresses that crackled with movement. Flowers fractured over the full length gowns and showed a continuation in covetable evening wear by Herrera.
