Antonio Berardi
Spring-Summer 2015 – Antonio Berardi amalgamated traditional British tailoring and chic, colouful Italian styles in order to create this stunning collection, incorporating modernised Baroque artistry techniques. Floral prints and embellishments frequented the catwalk in kaleidoscopic colours, from the cool tones of navy and ivory to the sizzling reds and oranges, modernising these classic looks. The Antonio Berardi collection strayed away from its usual figure hugging pieces, instead choosing to use high round and boat-cut necklines, and styling the collection to be loose-fitting. However, thus did not prevent the collection from embracing femininity, with satin being the main choice of fabric in the collection, outlining the feminine silhouette when the models glided down the catwalk.
Black sandals toughened up the collection, in addition to the bold red lipstick and messy hairstyles worn by the models. Hair was worn away from the face in a textured up-do, merging elegance and Rock-and-Roll chic.
